The character 社 (shè) originally meant 'community' or 'society,' 会 (huì) means 'to meet' or 'association,' 主 (zhǔ) means 'master' or 'principle,' and 义 (yì) refers to 'righteousness' or 'morality.' Together, they form a term that reflects a system based on social equity and collective values.
